The training will cover the physiological aspects of cardiac arrest, explaining what happens in the body, and detail how chest compressions help. We will demonstrate proper compression techniques, review Missouri’s Good Samaritan Law, and provide hands-on practice with mannequins.

About the event
The training will cover the physiological aspects of cardiac arrest, explaining what happens in the body, and detail how chest compressions help. We will demonstrate proper compression techniques, review Missouri’s Good Samaritan Law, and provide hands-on practice with mannequins. Additionally, we will offer training on how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). The course is expected to last approximately 45 minutes to one hour.
Please note that this course is not a certification program, although it will cover all the material included in a certification course. Upon completion, you will have the knowledge but will not receive formal certification.
