No, you do not have to live in New Town to be a member of The Commons Fitness Center. All are welcome. All New Town businesses are open to the public. The Commons wants to spread the word and make that known so that people are not even thinking about needing to ask that question.
We will always do our best to accommodate the needs of our guests. If there isn't a time slot listed that works with your schedule, please send an e-mail to workout@commonsfit.com and someone will get in touch with you to schedule a time that works for you.
Youths ages 14–17 can now join with a legal guardian! Check out our membership plans for details. We’re also planning to offer pop-up kids’ classes in the future—join our mailing list and follow us on Facebook to stay in the loop.
Unlike other gyms, we offer a month-to-month plan for $29/month and add a family member for just $19 more. You can also save 10% by paying annually. Check out all of our plans at commonsfit.com/memberships.
Yes! Not only can you schedule a tour to check out the gym, but we also offer a day pass for just $5 or a week pass for $15.
No, because everybody hates cancellation fees!

We do not allow individuals in the fitness center under the age of 18 due to liability issues.
Go to commonsfit.com/services and select ‘Personal Training’ we have many options to choose from.
You can e-mail workout@commonsfit.com. However, we suggest you ask your trainer for their personal e-mail address or phone number so that you may contact them in case of emergency or cancellation.
We offer equipment familiarization with one of our personal trainers, Preston. Simply click the link below. The cost is $30 for a 30-minute session.
We offer a key fob for those without a smart phone. You will need to e-mail us at workout@commonsfit.com.
We allow freelance personal trainers. However, it will require that your personal trainer also have their own membership with Commons Fitness.
Unfortunately, not all Medicare plans cover Silver Sneakers.
We do not have locker rooms or showers. The gym offers a traditional bathroom.
